She Went To Spain was originally about my travels as I moved to Spain, but has since expanded to include destination reviews of every place I visit. My reviews include hotel reviews, tours, activities, restaurants, bars, transportation, and anything else I come across during my travels. I also include funny anecdotes or cute stories of personal experience in each destination.
My blog is still young and I’m looking to expand my destinations, but it already includes three continents, many countries, and more cities. I write about big cities and small villages, beach towns and mountain lodges, different cultures and traditions, local customs and tourist activities. I list the best places to eat, drink, sleep, and visit. I try to avoid talking about the places that I didn’t enjoy, but sometimes I do mention things that aren’t worth doing.
My goal is to encourage people to travel more, whether it’s in their own backyard, within their country, or across the world. I hope to help those who are hesitant and nervous to break out of their shell and experience something new. I hope my blog will help people see past stereotypes and be more accepting and willing to try new things. Eventually, I hope I can say I contributed to world peace through traveling and writing.
My audience is fellow-travelers from all over the world. Most of my audience is in the U.S. however I have readers from countries like Finland, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Croatia, and Japan. My audience ranges in age from 21 to 71, however the majority are in their 20’s and 30’s. Many of my readers are females who travel solo or with a partner. Collaborating with me will give your company a worldwide audience. I’m active on social media and try to post on Instagram, Twitter, Google+, and YouPic at least four times per week. I try to post a blog once a week but it usually ends up being once every two weeks.
I’ve been featured in Global Living Magazine (online), International Living Magazine (print), Global Travel Magazine (print), and Beyond Travel Magazine (print). I’ve also been featured on the Travel Channel’s social media sites. I have single-handedly created social media networking sites and blogs for a local business and maintained social media for a large dual-state company. I’ve written hotel descriptions for hotels across the world for Hipmunk. I’ve researched and blogged about the best travel destinations in the U.S. for multiple companies. I’ve also written about events worth visiting in cities throughout the world for various companies.
